Project Description
SWS had the honor of developing the web and mobile sites for this international economic conference. Given the high profile nature of the event, our primary goal was to create a unique and extremely usable design that would make the site memorable for visitors. On-the-go mobile access also figured prominently into the development plan. Large buttons, responsive web site layout and a smart phone specific design are just a few of the features that will help busy attendees to easily use the site on their mobile devices. The left menu and logo stay fixed to the screen, giving fingers easy access on touch screens, with the added benefit of maintaining constant branding all the way down the page.
Attendees can quickly register and pay online, all within the website. We made sure that the payment process is seamless, so that there are no annoying 3rd party links and logos. An automatic Google translation tool converts content to the visitor’s preferred language.
In order to facilitate development and maintenance, SWS developed the site using the revered open source CMS WordPress. This made it easy to program custom plugins to manage Speakers and mobile content.
